February has come and gone so quickly that it was like a blink of an eye. I am so proud of our girls. I have really watched them grow and learn. They have become friends and are breaking troop records.
We spent February working on the Lupe/ Sunny Petals for our Daisies and Making Friends badge for oyr Brownies. Our troop continues to grow and push ourselves to each thise goals. We have done initial cookie sales, delivered our cookies to customers, run cookie booths, and worked on our 5 life skills that Cookie sales teaches us. We even delivered cookies to a orthodonist for our local first responders. we set a troop goal of 1,500 cookies boxes. Our stretch goal is 2,000 boxes. We plan to go to Sealife Aquarium, Legoland, and Ann Arbor Hands on Muesum with our money. Also, did you know our troop leader is going to let us throw pies in her face for every 25 boxes over 100 each scout sells. If we reach 100 boxes as a scout we get to have pizzia with our leaders. If we reach 150 boxes as a scout we get to have our own top seller cookie party with our leaders. To end our busy month on Leap Day, we participated in our very first Girl Powered Derby Race. It was super fun and we got to participate in our first troop swap event. We are looking forward to alot more cool adventures. Making friends and life long memories.

AuthorHi, I am Amy and I am the Troop Leader for Troop 76961. I started this page as a way to help families in our community learn quickly how they can join girl scouts in our area. I was not given the opportunity to be a girl scout as a child and I decided to lead my daughters troop to make sure that she and her friends had a troop at our school that would work for them. I am enjoying being the troop leader and I glad I finally get to be a girl scout with my daughter. 2024 marks the start of my 7th year leading our troop on fun adventures. Archives
