Preparing for a new Scouting year over the last few months. As the troop leader I have missed our troop meetings. My daughter has missed seeing her scouting friends. I spent the summer relaxing and pre planning out the new way of scouting we will be enjoying this year. As well as training and meetings to stay updated.
We will be offering virtual and in person meetings and looking for more parent volunteers to assist as our troop navigates the next scouting year. We will be taking extra safety measures for Fall Product Sales and Cookies Sales this year. Scouting will look different but the focus will remain the same. Helping girls grow and learn, while having fun through S.T.E.M. As well as building life long friendships. To kick this off we have a parent information meeting on Wednesday, September 30th. See the flyer for more information.

AuthorHi, I am Amy and I am the Troop Leader for Troop 76961. I started this page as a way to help families in our community learn quickly how they can join girl scouts in our area. I was not given the opportunity to be a girl scout as a child and I decided to lead my daughters troop to make sure that she and her friends had a troop at our school that would work for them. I am enjoying being the troop leader and I glad I finally get to be a girl scout with my daughter. 2024 marks the start of my 7th year leading our troop on fun adventures. Archives
